Calling for more corporate transparency & accountability !

Today I joined community members, advocates, and my colleagues in the State Legislature, Asm. Kieran Michael Lalor, Asm. Frank Skartados for State Assembly, and Asm. Didi Barrett to call for more transparency and accountability for corporations such as IBM who receive taxpayer-funded incentives, yet continue to cut jobs. When investing tax dollars in corporations, we must be able to ensure that they are going towards creating good jobs and spurring economic growth. Not the other way around. We want IBM here, but they need to uphold their end of the deal, and remember the hard working families in our community that have dedicated years and sometimes decades to their company.
