WE MUST CONTINUE TO FIGHT FERC'S FEDERALLY MANDATED CAPACITY ZONE

We must continue to fight against the Federal Government’s Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) “capacity zone” in the Hudson Valley. Increasing Hudson Valley residents' energy bills to incentivize new energy providers to better service New York City is unconscionable and simply wrong.
Local leaders at all levels of government and residents continue to make it clear that the proposed capacity zones would be a harsh and unfair blow to hardworking families and businesses in the Hudson Valley. We must urge the Federal Government to listen to our community.
You can make your voice heard by calling FERC’s Acting Chairman Cheryl A. LaFleur’s office at 202-502-8614.
I will not let my voice rest on this issue, and will continue to work with anyone to fight against Washington’s misguided plan.
