Senator Sanders, a Marine Corp veteran, meets with Major General Stephen J. Townsend, Commanding General at Fort Drum to discuss strategy and tactics concerning Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan as well as the letter sent by 47 senators to the government of Iran. Senator Sanders sits on the Senate Committee on Veterans, Homeland Security & Military Affairs.
