Engaging forum on the restaurant industry last night at our “Survival of the Fittest: Navigating the Restaurant Business” forum. Thanks to everyone who was able to attend. I look forward to continuing to present forums that support entrepreneurship and economic development in our community. Supporting economic development is a team effort and I am grateful to have such strong partners.
Thanks also to everyone who made the event possible. A special thanks to our panelists Pia Raymond of the Nostrand Avenue Merchants Association and of Creative Legacies, who served as moderator, Michael Jones of the NYS Liquor Authority, Keri Crayne of the NYC Department of Health, Fred Riley of the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, Luc Saint-Preux of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, Peter Caldon of HSS Restaurant Consulting, Warren Berke Chair Economic Development Committee of Community Board 9, and special thanks to Joan Cox of Fenimore Street United Methodist Church for providing a wonderful setting for the evening’s informative discussion.
