State Senator John A. DeFrancisco poses with cadets and a World War II veteran after the Honor Fight Syracuse "Welcome Home" ceremony at Hancock Airport on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Senator DeFrancisco helped welcome home the 81 veterans who were on the Honor Flight and to thank them for their dedicated military service.
Honor Flight is a not-for-profit organization that flies veterans to and from their war memorials in Washington, D.C. Hundreds of family and friends of the veterans also participated in Saturday's ceremony.
