Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) participated in a Public Hearing regarding the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), March 2, at the Capitol in Albany. Senator Bonacic asked the MTA officials to consider two projects that would benefit Orange County. The first project would be the installation of passing sidings all the way from Hoboken to Port Jervis, and the second would be the installation of a new rail yard in Orange County.
“Doing these two projects would allow more service opportunities as well as more train access for my constituents,” said Senator Bonacic
