Senator Mike Nozzolio recently met with Ed Maguire, Vice President of Operations for Cherrypharm Inc., a business located at the Geneva Ag Tech Farm. Cherrypharm was developed in conjunction with Dr. Olga Padilla-Zakour of the New York State Agriculture Experiment Station. The business produces Cheribundi, a tart cherry juice known world-wide for its rich anti-oxidant qualities. Just this past month, the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots had a special rush order of an additional 20 cases of Cheribundi for delivery to Arizona as they prepared for the big game. In addition, numerous sports teams use Cheribundi for the health benefits including the Buffalo Bills, the New York Rangers, and the New York Mets.
