SENATOR NOZZOLIO WELCOMES INCOMING CORNELL PRESIDENT ELIZABETH GARRETT TO NEW YORK STATE CAPITOL

Senator Mike Nozzolio recently welcomed incoming Cornell University President, Elizabeth Garrett, to the New York State Capitol.  President Garrett previously served as Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Southern California (USC) and will begin her term at Cornell on July 1st of this year.

“As a proud alumnus of Cornell University, it was an honor to welcome President  Garrett to the State Capitol and to New York State, “ said Senator Nozzolio.  “I look forward to working with President Garrett on issues of importance to the University to continue my efforts to secure the necessary funding to support the critically important research and development taking place at the college.”
