Last week was Fort Drum Day in the Senate, recognizing its 10th Mountain Division for their incredible service. Senator Venditto had the honor of meeting Major General Stephen J. Townsend, who commands the post, its 38,000 soldiers and families members, plus 5,000 civilian employees in northern New York. To this day the 10th Mountain Division is the Army's most deployed combat division, and we owe both its past and present soldiers our thanks for all they've done to keep our nation strong.
