Senator Venditto joins with the Bellmore-Merrick Community to Collect over 700 LBS of Unused, Expired or Unwanted Prescription Medication

New York State Senator Michael Venditto, (R, C, I- Massapequa) partnered with the Bellmore-Merrick CHSD: Community Parent Center, Legislator Laura Curran, Legislator Steve Rhoads and the Nassau County Police Department for a free Drug Take-Back Program at Mepham High School. Over 700 LBS of unused, expired or unwanted prescription medication were collected and dropped off to the Nassau County Police Department for safe disposal. Thanks to all who participated so we can protect our children, our community and our water supply.
