Senator Venditto Participates in Old Mill Road Elementary School's Reading Day

North Merrick, NY- New York State Senator Michael Venditto, (R, C, I- Massapequa) recently had the opportunity to participate in the North Merrick Union Free School District's reading day at Old Mill Road Elementary School as a guest reader to Mrs. Kiderman's 1st Grade Class.

Senator Venditto read "Brave Irene" by William Steig to the class. The book teachers children about courage, determination, relationships, and responsibility in the face of adversity. Senator Venditto also talked with the 1st Graders about his job as a New York State Senator and the importance of public service.
