Merrick, NY- New York State Senator Michael Venditto, (R, C, I- Massapequa) recently had the opportunity to participate in the Merrick Community Read Aloud Celebration at Norman J Levy Lakeside Elementary School as a guest reader to Mrs. Iseman's Kindergarten Class.
Senator Venditto read "The Little Engine That Could" by Watty Piper, a book that teaches children the value of optimism and hard work. Senator Venditto also talked with the 1st Graders about his job as a New York State Senator and the importance of public service.
