"It was an absolute honor to be sworn in as New York State Senator for the 8th District by the Honorable Judge Jonathan Lippman, Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals at yesterday’s installation ceremony in Albany.  This is a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life, and what made it even more special was being able to share it with my friends and family, especially my wife Antonella, and our son Andrew, all of whom took the trip to Albany for this special day."
