Free Prostate Cancer Screening Event

About 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with Prostate cancer during his lifetime. According to the American Cancer Society Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men, behind only lung cancer.
That is why on Wednesday, July 15, in conjunction with the Integrated Medical Foundation, Inc., Senator Boyle will be sponsoring a FREE, non-invasive, screening program for Prostate cancer. This program is open to all men age 40 and over who have not been previously treated for Prostate cancer.
Appointments are required and will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Please call Senator Boyle's District Office at (631) 665-2311 to schedule a time slot.
Here are a few items for the screening that you will need to know:
• A photo ID containing an address (driver’s license) is required
• Patients must bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope in order to be notified about PSA test results
• Patients should bring the name and address of their primary care physician if possible
• All screenings will include PSA blood-tests
• Open to all men ages 40 and older who have not been previously treated for Prostate cancer, regardless of whether they have insurance.
