**Overview: ** The Knowledge Worker Software Engineering Team is focused on developing and delivering highly innovative mobile computing products that delight our customers. Members of this team perform software development activities across the product life cycle including concept creation, architectural analysis, requirements, design, development, integration and commercialization with a focus on delivering world class quality and performance in a fast paced development environment. 

**Responsibilities:** The successful candidate will lead a global team in all aspects of Software New Product Introduction for the Knowledge Worker Product Engineering Team as well as contribute to creation and refinement of the Knowledge Worker Software Strategy. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving and implementing repeatable and scalable software continuous improvement initiatives to deliver best in class software quality that delights our customers.

**Qualifications: ** 12+ Years of Hands-On Experience in Software Team Leadership and New Product Introduction. Expertise with Android OS is required. Expertise with Microsoft OS is desired. Experience with Qualcomm Chipset Families is required; 89XX preferred. Demonstrated experience in leading a global software team is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and execution with third party software suppliers is required. Demonstrated Experience in Agile Software Development Models is required. Demonstrated Experience in using SW Metrics to drive programs is required. Excellent Collaboration Skills are required. Excellent Problem Solving Skills are required
