Senator Sue Serino Honors Local Youth Leaders

HYDE PARK, NY—Senator Sue Serino (R, C, I—Hyde Park) was joined by local high school students in her District Office on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, where she presented them with the NYS Senate Youth Leadership Recognition Awards. The students were nominated for the awards by members of the community who recognize them as promising young leaders that excel both academically, and through their extracurricular and volunteer activities.

“It’s clear that each of these students has an inherent drive to lead,” said Senator Serino. “ Their dedication and energy make them invaluable assets to our communities and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to recognize them as such. We are proud to count them as sons and daughters of the 41st Senate District.”

Seven students from across the district were honored with the Youth Leadership Recognition Awards. Senator Serino is pictured above (from left to right) with Billy Smart ( Roy C.
