Albany, N.Y.--In the photo above, Senator O'Mara meets in Albany with Greater Southern Tier (GST) BOCES students Derrick Griffith, left, and Zack Parker.
The students, who are also members of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), accompanied Southern Tier soil and water conservation leaders to the Capitol on March 3rd to discuss priority issues.
"I think it's especially encouraging to have students like Derrick and Zack looking to carry on and lead this important and valuable work for the next generation," said Senator O'Mara, who chairs the Senate Environmental Conservation Committee.
