New York State's 10 Regional Economic Development Councils (REDC) -- including the Southern Tier REDC, and the Finger Lakes REDC -- will be in Albany this week making their cases for state aid as part of the next round of REDC funding -- including a $500-million portion of a $1.5-billion Upstate Revitalization competitive grant program.
The presentations get underway today and Southern Tier leaders are on tap for 3:00 p.m.
The Finger Lakes council will makes its presentation on Wednesday, October 21, at 1:30 p.m.
