(FLUSHING, NY) Today, ahead of the Passover holiday beginning, State Senator Tony Avella donated matzos to Temple Beth Sholom in Flushing.
Senator Avella has made it an annual tradition to bring matzo donations to a synagogue in his district as the Jewish community prepares for Passover.
“Today, I am happy to be able to contribute to the celebration of one of the most important traditions in the Jewish faith. As those who observe prepare to share this holiday with their families, I wish the Jewish community a happy Passover,” said Senator Avella.
