(Albany - March 8th) On #InternationalWomensDay, Senator Stewart-Cousins was the keynote speaker and the recipient of the Miriam M. Netter '72 Award at Albany Law School's Kate Stoneman Day. Kate Stoneman was the first woman admitted to practice law in New York and Albany Law School's first female graduate in the Class of 1898.This year’s event was dedicated in memory of former New York Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye, who delivered the inaugural Kate Stoneman Day keynote address in 1994.
