Statement from State Senator Gustavo Rivera on the New Chancellor of the Board of Regents

"Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Betty Rosa has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving the quality of education for the Bronx and all of New York State, while being a tireless advocate for our most vulnerable students. I am very proud that a fellow Bronxite has been appointed to be the first Latina to serve as the Chancellor of the Board of Regents and I look forward to working with her to ensure all the children in our State receive the education they need and deserve."
