Honoring a Distinguished Record of Public Service

Pleased my Director of Community Affairs, Raul Rothblatt, was able to present a Citation for Exemplary Service to Inspector George Fitzgibbon on my behalf today at the Shomrim Breakfast in Inspector Fitzgibbon's honor. Inspector Fitzgibbon 's leadership at the 71st Precinct contributed to a significant decrease in crime while he worked proactively to build positive relationships with neighborhood groups and community organizations. Our entire community extends its best wishes to him as he goes on to lead the Brooklyn South narcotics division.
