Senator Bonacic Announces $50,000 for the Town of Bethel for Renovation of the Senior Center and Justice Court Building

(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) is pleased to announce that the Town of Bethel has been selected to receive a $50,000 grant to make renovations to the Senior Citizen Center and Justice Court Buildings. Senator Bonacic secured the money through the State Municipal Grant Program. Improvements include new windows, the replacement of three exterior doors, replacement of a handicap railing and ramp, replacement of a HVAC unit, and exterior painting.
“Improvements like this will have positive impacts for the seniors in the Town,” said Senator Bonacic. “I have no doubt that this project will save money for Bethel taxpayers.”
“Senator Bonacic has always been good to the Town of Bethel, and I am always appreciative of his support of the Town.” said Bethel Supervisor Daniel Sturm. “This grant will help us immensely, with work that is desperately needed.”
