(Middletown, NY)- Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join friends and neighbors at a celebration yesterday, commemorating the 50th anniversary of President Lyndon B. Johnson’s visit to Ellenville Regional Hospital. On August 19, 1966, President Johnson joined local Ellenville officials, including former Congressman Joseph Resnick, to dedicate the hospital. Last night’s event celebrated that dedication, and featured a 30-min documentary video, a memorabilia display, and remarks by local elected officials. Senator Bonacic spoke at event and congratulated the hospital staff on serving the local community for these past 50 years.
