Senator Bonacic Attends Ceremonial Event Honoring 40 Orange County Soldiers Who Were Killed in WWI Battle

(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined local veterans, public officials, and community members at an event this morning honoring forty Orange County soldiers who died at the Battle of the Hindenburgh Line during WWI. The event was held at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, and featured a reading of the names of those who perished, as well as a reading of an essay from a Goshen High School Senior, highlighting the sacrifice of those who lost their lives that day. Today, September 29th, marks the 98th anniversary of the Battle of the Hindenburgh Line.
