(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined members of the New York State Police, local law enforcement officials, and community members this morning, at the Troop F Memorial Service in Middletown. The service is held every year to honor the lives of those troopers from Troop F who gave their lives in the line of duty. The counties that encompass Troop F are, Greene, Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, and Ulster. Also attending the service was Superintendent Joseph D’Amico, who announced his retirement earlier this year. Today is his last day on the job, and Senator Bonacic thanked him for his devoted service to the state, his professionalism, and always being respected by the men and women who served under him.
