Senator Bonacic Attends Ribbon Cutting for Brand New Pool at the YMCA of Middletown
September 15, 2016
(Middletown, NY)- Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join friends and neighbors last evening at a ribbon cutting ceremony, celebrating the brand new pool at the YMCA of Middletown. The YMCA broke ground on the pool in November of 2015, and yesterday’s event was the culmination of almost a year’s worth of work. The new pool cost $2.5 million. In order to defray the cost, the members of the YMCA participated in the “Save the Last Lap” campaign which helped raise money for the pool. The rest of the money was donated by local benefactors.
