Senator Bonacic Attends Volunteer Recognition Luncheon Hosted by the Orange County Office for the Aging

(Middletown, NY)- Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join local elected officials, community members, and volunteers this morning at the Orange County Office for the Aging’s Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, which recognized the contributions of volunteers from the Senior Dining Program. The event was held at St. Joseph’s Church in the City of Middletown. The Senior Dining Program provides nutritious meals to eligible people over the age of 60. Monday through Friday, seniors gather at different sites throughout Orange County to be served a nutritious noontime meal while enjoying social, health and educational programs, as well as nutrition education and counseling with a registered dietician. Senator Bonacic spoke during the luncheon and thanked the volunteers for what they do to provide nutritious meals to local seniors.
