(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt Hope) commended the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for taking a proactive role in the development of a traffic plan for Legoland’s proposed theme park in the Town of Goshen. There are several proposed ideas to improve traffic in and around the proposed Legoland theme park, and local, state and federal agencies are collaborating to find out which will work best.
“I commend the DOT for actively involving themselves in the development of traffic plan for the proposed Legoland theme park,” said Bonacic. “I indicated my support for this project earlier this year, contingent upon the outstanding issues (water, sewer, traffic) being resolved. The proactive role being taken by the DOT signals to me that they are enthusiastic about seeing this project come to fruition, but they are also recognize that there are serious issues that need to be taken care of before we move further.”
