(Albany, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined hunger advocates from around the state and Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, at a press conference this morning, calling for an additional $16.5 million in the Fiscal Year 2016-2017 State Budget for food banks. Both Senator Bonacic and Assemblyman Crespo circulated sign-on letters to their colleagues earlier this month, asking that this $16.5 million be included in the budget. Senator Bonacic’s letter included signatures of 25 of his Senate colleagues, from both parties. To view a copy of Senator Bonacic’s letter, please visit Bonacic.nysenate.gov.
