(Albany, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) met today with James Gregston Greer V of Walker Valley, who was in Albany as part of the 2016 Senior Day, which is hosted by the New York State Office for the Aging, and recognizes exemplary seniors who have made a difference in their communities. Mr. Greer is a lifelong resident of Walker Valley, and has belonged to the Walker Valley Fire Company for 57 years, 13 years as Chief. He served for 12 years as a member of the Ulster County Fire Advisory Board, and has volunteered at the Orange County Firemen’s Museum, the Verkeerderkill Park Committee, and the Old Fashioned Day Committee. Senator Bonacic presented Mr. Greer with a Senate Resolution celebrating his accomplishments.
