(Middletown, NY)-Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) today presented ceremonial pen certificates to the Town of Thompson, commemorating the signing into law of two pieces of legislation. The bills, S.5381A and S.5808A, both of 2015, allowed the Town of Thompson to remove certain lands from the Kiamesha Lake sewer district, and to establish a road improvement district. These pieces of legislation were needed to allow Montreign to start construction on the resort in the Town of Thompson, and both the resort and the Town requested these bills.
