(Albany, NY)- Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to welcome Cadets from the United States Military Academy at West Point to Albany, yesterday, as part of the NY Senate’s 2016 West Point Day. Bonacic had the opportunity to speak with Cadet Angelo Matz about his experience so far at the Academy. Cadet Matz resides in Port Jervis, NY and is set to finish his first year at this later this month. His Grandfather was former NY State Senator Arthur Gray. Senior Academy personnel were also on hand, including the Superintendent of the United States Military Academy, Lieutenant General Robert Caslen. These Cadets are the best and brightest that this country has to offer, and West Point Day offers the State Legislature a chance to recognize, and thank them for protecting our way of life.
