Celebrate “Red Cross Month” by giving blood in March
During “Red Cross Month” in March, the American Red Cross is encouraging all eligible donors to join its lifesaving mission by giving blood. Here are some upcoming blood donation opportunities across our community:
Saratoga Springs: Saturday, March 5
8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dorothy Nolan Elementary School

Waterford: Saturday, March 5
9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Church at Newtown Road

Mechanicville: Monday, March 7
1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Each year, the 12 chapters of the American Red Cross in New York State diligently serve a population of approximately 19.5 million. Whether responding to over 6,500 local disasters; training over 59,200 individuals in basic emergency preparedness courses or providing more than 345,000 blood products; the American Red Cross is always there to support the needs of New Yorkers.
