Town of Halfmoon Community Events and Observances:

 

- Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month is March in the Town of Halfmoon

  

- Chicken BBQ at the American Legion on Grooms Road March 12 at 4–7 pm;

 

- Easter “Egg”stravganza – March 19 at the Halfmoon Town Hall from 1-3, Easter fun for all kids;

 

- Yellow Ribbon Day – April 8, Service at 11 am at Halfmoon Town Hall;

 

- Transfer Station Spring Cleanup Dates: April 19, 22, 23, 26, 29 & 30, Tuesday 8-12, Friday 12-5, Saturday 8-3. Please get your 2016 sticker at the Town Clerk’s Office

 

- Senior Center Spring Bazaar – April 30 at the Senior Center; and

 

- The Moving Wall: I'm partnering with the Town of Halfmoon and NYS Senate in hosting The Moving Wall, a half-size replica of the Washington, D.C. Vietnam Veterans Memorial, when it comes to our Halfmoon Town Park June 2 through June 6. There will be a reading of the names of patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War.
