Charles Schulz (1922–2000), the legendary American cartoonist best known for his comic strip Peanuts and those iconic characters Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, Pig-Pen, Woodstock, Schroeder and all the rest, once said in his trademark simple and understated way, "Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone."
