A reminder that one of our hometown heroes, legendary astronaut and Elmira native Eileen Collins will take the national stage tonight during prime time to address the nation at the Republican National Convention's "Make America First Again" program.

Of course Eileen is a member of the National Women's Hall of Fame.
But here in the New York State Senate, we're also proud have her included as part of our "Women of Distinction" in New York State history. Read more HERE.
