We’re living in a world where events and news and other happenings come and go at a pace that would have been unimaginable even just a decade ago. Because of the Internet and social media and 24-hour news channels and smart phones -- and all of the other reasons and technologies I don’t have to list -- it’s a here today, gone tomorrow society. And so reminders are worthwhile.
