We will continue to partner with our colleagues in government together with the local highway superintendents and local leaders across this region and state to keep this vitally important challenge at the forefront of Albany's attention -- to keep letting everyone know that the improvement and upkeep of local roads and bridges is a wise use of taxpayer dollars. Every additional dollar of state support means a dollar less that our local property taxpayers have to pay.
