Today, Senator Todd Kaminsky joined Governor Andrew Cuomo in signing a letter to the federal government demanding that they halt their plan to dump dredge spoils into the Long Island Sound.
Senator Todd Kaminsky said, "The Long Island Sound is a precious resources and part of the heritage we must vigilantly protect. Today, I joined Governor Andrew Cuomo in signing a letter to the EPA demanding that the federal government halt their plan to dump sludge into the Sound. We made clear that legal action will follow and that we are all prepared to stand together in defensive of our natural resources. Thanks to Governor Cuomo for coming out to Long Island and standing up for its environment."
