Kaminsky Pens Letter to NYSED on Common Core Revisions

Senator Todd Kaminsky wrote to the New York State Education Department to publicly comment on their new draft revisions to the New York State P-12 English Language Arts and Mathematics Learning Standards. 

Senator Kaminsky said, “While these draft revisions indicate that NYSED is willing to work with parents and teachers, I do not believe they go far enough.  There remains a plethora of unresolved issues and until we have meaningful change that breaks the “one size fit all” standard, the public will not see the change that it truly desires.”
