Senator Kaminsky honors local dancers from Miss Colleen's Elite Dancentre

Dancers from Miss Colleen’s Elite Dancentre in Rockville Centre were honored by Senator Todd Kaminsky on Thursday evening, July 14th, after an outstanding showing at the Edge National Talent Competition, held from July 4 – 9, in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Senator Todd Kaminsky: “These girls are outstanding leaders, on and off the stage, and showcase the best of what Rockville Centre has to offer.  Dedication, perseverance, and spirit are what it takes to be successful, and their hard work has truly paid off.”

Miss Colleen’s Elite Dancentre submitted 68 performances at the competition, and while they were edged out by one tenth of a point for the “Edge Cup,” they obtained the overall highest score in the competition.  Senior Company member, Zoe Roman, won the highest solo score and went on to be named “Miss Teen Edge.”
