Great night of celebrating Caribbean culture, reggae music, and our community spirit at the Brooklyn Museum yesterday at "Reggae Under di Stars."
I was happy to officially acknowledge the community leaders, partners, and talented performing artists, including Reggae Ambassadors Stephen “Ragga” Marley, Cocoa Tea - the legend, Ghanian Dancehall Reggae artist, Stonebwoy, Brooklyn’s own Afrobeat songstress WUNMI and Dajah, Irie Jam Radio, Derrick Barnett & Statement Band, DJ Roy of Road International, Cali B and Max Glazer and Kenny Meez of Federation Sound.
Thanks to the West Indian American Day Carnival Association for continuing our longstanding tradition of celebrating Caribbean culture and congratulations on your 50th anniversary!
