Local residents should be co-equal partners in planning
Proud to stand with Crown Heights activists calling for fundamental change to the City's deeply flawed 267 Rogers shelter plans. In addition to homelessness prevention measures, we need to build permanent, truly affordable housing. A strategy centered around building additional shelters is not the answer. We must re-focus on investing in permanent, truly affordable and low-income housing.
