Working to Improve Street Safety

Kids in every neighborhood deserve safe streets. Speed cameras near schools are an effective way to stop traffic deaths, and I am proud to co-sponsor the bill to make this important change "Every Street:.

We had a very productive conversation yesterday with Teka Lark of Transportation Alternatives (TA) on finding further ways to collaborate and improve safety. I look forward to working with TA, transit advocates, and our community to improve street safety. We shouldn't wait for another crash resulting in the injury or death of another child. The time to act is now!
