Brooks Echoes Gov: Amtrak should pay for Penn repairs
Sen. John Brooks
June 15, 2017
Senator John Brooks echoes the sentiments of Governor Andrew Cuomo, who stated today that Amtrak should pay for repairs to Penn Station, not New Yorkers.
Senator John Brooks said, “Governor Cuomo is spot on. Hardworking New Yorkers shouldn't have to front the bill for Penn Station repairs, Amtrak should. It's time for Long Islanders to get their money's worth, and not pay for repairs that Amtrak is liable for.”
