(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) is pleased to announce that the Village of Greenwood Lake has been awarded a $50,000 grant for the purchase of an aerial work platform. The grant was secured through the State and Municipal Grant Program, funding for which was appropriated in the 2017-2018 State Budget.
“I’m pleased to have been able to secure this grant to help the Village of Greenwood Lake purchase this versatile piece of equipment,” said Senator Bonacic. “This grant will save the Village taxpayers money.”
Village of Greenwood Lake Mayor Jesse Dwyer said, "The Village Board in Greenwood Lake would like to thank Senator Bonacic for supporting efficient measures in accomplishing municipal services. By providing Greenwood Lake with a grant to purchase an aerial platform lift, we will be able to execute the needed maintenance on our buildings and grounds in-house without costly contractors or rental of equipment, saving tax payer resources.”
