Senator Bonacic Attends Grand Opening Ceremony for the New Trapps Bridge at the Mohonk Preserve in the Town of Gardiner

(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join friends, fellow elected officials, and community members this morning at the grand opening ceremony for the new Trapps Bridge which is located in the Mohonk Preserve in the Town of Gardiner. The new Trapps Bridge is a prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge with wooden decking and is designed to improve motorists’ visibility of oncoming traffic as well as to improve trail users’ access to the Mohonk Preserve. The total cost of the bridge project was $1.4 million, with the State contributing a substantial amount of money. Senator Bonacic spoke at the event and thanked all those in attendance for their perseverance in seeing the project through.
