Senator Bonacic Celebrates the Grand Opening of the Pfeiffer Technology and Innovation Lab at SUNY Ulster

(Middletown, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join members of the SUNY Ulster Administration; fellow elected officials, and honored guests yesterday at the grand opening of the Pfeiffer Technology and Innovation Lab on the campus of SUNY Ulster. The new lab will house training and testing equipment used by SUNY Ulster students pursuing degrees in engineering and advanced manufacturing, and will provide hands-on learning for STEM students. The lab cost $1.4 million and was paid for with support from SUNY Ulster donors in collaboration with Ulster County, SUNY 2020, Empire State Development, Darlene Pfeiffer, Central Hudson Gas and Electric, and the Ulster Community College Foundation. Senator Bonacic spoke at the event and congratulated everyone who helped make the Pfeiffer Lab a reality.
