Senator Bonacic Honors Exemplary SUNY Orange Students at Reception in Albany

(Albany, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) joined SUNY Orange students, and SUNY Orange President Dr. Kristine Young, at the USA Today Phi Theta Kappa All-New York Academic Awards reception in Albany today. The awards reception honors exceptional academic achievement in students from the State’s community colleges. This year’s honorees from SUNY Orange were Renita Johnson, a double Biology and Nursing major and member of the student senate, and Alexander Mahon, a graduate of the College’s Honors Program, who is currently pursuing his AS degree. Senator Bonacic presented Renita with a certificate of merit at the event. Alexander was unable to attend.
